It's ALIVE!

My warmup sketch session last week was surprisingly effective and I guess I've had some pent up creative energy because somehow I got two new illustrations right here with another one already in the works.

I'm yielding to the urge to draw a more cartoony style and figured I'll do some scenes inspired by classic monster tales. Starting with the most classic of classics. Pull the lever, Ygor!

And of course, no collection of monster scenes are complete without a zombie or two.

Here are some cartoon girl sketches leading up to the illustrations. Just silly sexy fun times.

As appealing colored pieces are, I think I'll stick with just inking things for a while. Colors are hard man. Besides, line art is my biggest love and I think it's a really underappreciated art form nowadays with all the hyper-gloss everywhere. There's a purity in it that appeals to me.
